This was a potential problem. He had sat through the meeting without listening or saying anything, and now the meeting was over, but his boss was striding toward his office. He needed something to say. He quickly opened the window behind his desk, leaned out and, as he heard footsteps approaching the doorway, began making vomiting noises. This continued for a while, until he heard his boss's footsteps retreat.

He stayed hanging out the window for another few moments. There was a beautiful breeze and the city was very quiet. A woman on the street below looked up at him, and he smiled. He didn't really have to worry, anyway. This wasn't actually the company he worked for.

He sat down at his desk and began reading the magazine he picked up in the cafe. If anyone came in he would tell them he was doing research.
